Mindset?
The concept of a “mindset”
Education doesnt really mean enlightment, and we can see in our everday lives, how even if an individual is educated, he/she doesnt have a single clue on issues of poverty, war, religion, politics, behavior , etc, etc. No wonder we have so many problems in the world these days. I am no saint but I try to keep an open mind on things and sometimes i fail and sometimes i succeed. I accept that fate as a human being.
Imagine the mindset of an individual who is not educated. I heard that the Goverment of Tamil Nadu had built a housing scheme for the poor, but what do they do, they give those houses for rent and go back to their original shanty town areas. I understand that they have no income for electricity, water, etc, etc that one would need to have to maintain a house, but people could use these housing schemes as a break to get away from the poor lifestyle. But no - their mindset prevents them from doing so. What can the Goverment do? Well their mindsets is pretty conceivable. They give houses away but forget abt the real necessities of people - a job, an income, an education. The Goverment’s mindset is pretty easy to figure out as well. Act like you are doing something for the people but dont give a real shit about the real problems. Keep the poor - poor and thus get the votes.
So a solution in the making - nah. Pretty hard to go around changing crores of peoples’ lives when no one really wants to listen. You could say thats my mindset on the issue - thus i have failed.
