I guess most of you must be experiencing a period of retrospection after the violence in Sri Lanka, bomb blasts in Mumbai and basically violence around the world . Well maybe reaching out in a different way to society could be a thought. This article is different and interesting. I will just pass the link onto you now in this post as well.

So next time you see me – don’t get me a latte but maybe when you see that kid working at your ‘convenient’ grocery store - maybe you can ask the employer to let him/her go free 
BTW, a friend stated that random acts of kindness are much easier and exhibitable to strangers rather than friends or someone we know. Interesting point. He gave me an example stating a one night stand relationship would be easier with a stranger than a friend - and thats definetly random and true. I think I am going to write a good fiction on this. Keep Reading!!!
I have been doing this for a while. The reward comes from that nice feeling inside when you’ve done something good, no ‘thanks’ are necessary!

yes there is a problem with one night stands. Unhealthy for one reason, but come on be serious….you become jaded. There is no proper way of having one. You are letting yourself down and the girl. How do you think she feels. Oh but then again i am a girl

ouch lady no need for personal attacks, just because ur a prude…I’ll admit I’m pretty open minded, have no problem with people who like mindless fucks, serious relationships, no sex before marriage or want to stay celibate for their whole lives.
I’m not sure why you think one night stands are letting the girl down. I know a fair few girls who dont mind one night stands simply because they were feeling horny at the time, yes its not only us irrational boys who get horny!
The exception to this is someone lying to a girl to get them into bed, even in this case the girl should be smarter., but I do find that repugnant.
And it doesnt have to be unhealthy, just sheath up…as for jaded, ever had sezx with the same person for 5 years…try that for jaded.
Anyways TK sorry for rambling on, the original comment was meant flippantly…but I guess some people are low on humour…the irony of it all…I’m not even that much into one night stands, much more into relationships…the few one nights I’ve done were just spontaneous and have been fun…but both me and the girl have agreed each time that it was just a night…and nothing more…

sorry TK for dissing your friend, who ever he is. I just think that both become jaded when sex is involved before marriage. And childof25, I am no prude mind you. If I were I would find it very hard to discuss such a topic. I am not low in humour, but if you have had any kind of one night stand - yes sorry to say in any high class society, you are well - not from one. We don’t do such things, for we have a sense of who we are. We don’t need a guy (in my case) or a girl in yours to fulfill our pleasures. I get my highs off of books - political or otherwise. Get a life dear!

i don’t get your joke about the rabbit, and yes i do have a life btw. I may get my high off of books, but at least i know and my friends know that i don’t lie and take drugs, drink excessively or very little come to think of it, and i don’t have flings or in fact i don’t even have a bf. At this time in my life while i am in the varsity, I have my friends, girls and guys to keep me interested. I am from India and have parents that were educated in the best schools in SL - Ladies/Royal. I think they have given me great values, which your parents obviously haven’t. Hmmm…well everything I’ve been saying so far has been kind of tongue-in-cheek, simnply because I find people who need to justify an elevated self-esteem through some imagined superiority in family and education amusing. I tend to avoid discriminating people based on class, race where they went to school, etc despite being brought up in a very elitist environment.
But on a more serious note, ila after you brought race into it its not so funny anymore. If theres one thing I find repugnant its racism…of course you will decry in your defense that you didn’t mean to be racist, but anybody with two brain cells will be able to judge for themselves from the last comment.

Dude, take a chill pill as is a direct quote from K3G. I mean, obviously I am a liberal and if you were talking tongue-in-cheek you should have said so in the beginning. Here in AZ, you should here some of the things the Singalese people say about the tamils, and what is wrong with SL tamils is that they are as it is isolated from their own country which is rightly theirs and taken over by the Singalese, but they also isolate themselves once they get here, which really gets my goat. I am not a racist, I was just peeved at the way you answered, so on a more civil note, you should say something back, tk? I am not in India, and being a Chennaite and coming from the most conservative state, I happen to have cousins in SL that are 3/4 Singalese and a 1/4 Tamil; however, I can’t stand the fact that they deny they have tamil blood…I mean come on we can’t change what our grandparents did. I took offense to the fact that you used crude language to express yourself, as can be seen in your last sentence. Please only people who can’t express themselves, use filth. I have had no one in my life use such vulgar language and yes if you do have one night stands then you are low. If TKs thinks differntly then he should say so, but I didn’t mean to diss you earlier - only stating a fact. And yes I am from an upper middle class family that holds high moral values and one thing is that I don’t LIE. I am an open person (practically predictable and therefore vulnerable at times) and i speak my mind - FRANK! umm…actually I’ve been a bit busy and of course I dont really bother engaging with racists, they generally realise how stupid they are all on their own…
well let me see. I haven’t quite realized that yet because hmmm….i am not one of them. Of course you may think quite the contrary, but at least I have a life which doesn’t consist of having guys in my life who don’t treat girls with some respect. All my guy friends treat us Indian tamilian girls with respect. Show the girls some respect.
