Water – A Powerful movie
I guess it was about time I watched this movie and it was a pleasure indeed and great for my ever thinking/analyzing/dissescting brain. The killer line of course is “Gandhi is one of the few people in the world who listens to his conscience”. Ok lets take Gandhi out of the picture here, but imagine listening to your consience all the time. Its pretty tough because sometimes and most of the time, the mind controls the conscience and, if you cant admit to this then, well i guess your mind is controlling your conscience right now. 
I did my favorite task of googling after watching a good movie and was very startled by the problems the director Deepa Metha had to go through to get this movie into production and then release. I am a Hindu but far from religious, but a believer in God – just know that some call him Shiva, others call him Allah and some call him God. I guess all religions do have these old traditions that are “outdated” but still being followed – something like a legacy system using QBASIC language being operational – IMAGINE THAT!!!!
Good movie to watch and good provoking language.

Water was a beautiful movie, but wasn’t there a little girl name Sarla who is from SL and the sets were all in SL right?
Yes the whole movies was done in SL near the Bolgoda lake.
where is the bolgoda lake…is that near the bear lake near Colombo Plaza..that is where i stay when i come to SL..so i was just wondering what lake you are talking about.
Bolgoda lake is situated near Moratuwa.
where is moratuwa? isn’t there a university there? Well isn’t bear lake near the Colombo Plaza. I am indian so I don’t really know the names of the lakes that are situated around SL

well even though i am indian i have SL relatives so I always stay at the Colombo plaza. Also I have friends here in AZ that are SL’s
